I was on a 20-mile mountain bike ride to fish on the Kenai Peninsula when I was very fortunate to witness this big brown bear fishing at Russian River Falls with her cubs. The really lucky part is that it was the first time I have ever brought my big camera and zoom lens on a bike ride or a fishing trip. When in Alaskan bear country you can never be too prepared, right?!
